Question: “Remove blackheads and whiteheads”

Hey Mads,
I’m 22 and have had blemishes for a really long time. In the beginning, it was especially on my cheeks, on my forehead and around my mouth. When it really started to bother me, I went to see the doctor who gave me clindoxyl, which helped apart from the fact that sometimes little bumps appear on both corners of my mouth, which then become even worse and eventually little irritating blemishes. Even if I apply the clindoxyl, I don’t think that anything is happening, they still appear. Can you give me some good advice?

I also have a lot of blackheads on my cheek and around my nose. How can they be removed? I don’t think the clindoxyl helps with that.

Answer to: “Remove blackheads and whiteheads”

Dear Thomas,

Thank you so much for your letter. I am really happy to be able to pass on my knowledge and experience to you.

I am happy to hear that your acne has improved by using Clindoxyl.
Clindoxyl contains the ingredient Benzoyl Peroxide, which is considered a very effective ingredient when battling acne-bacteria in the pores.

To remove blackheads and whiteheads, using Clindoxyl is not enough though, because it is only targeting removing over-produced bacteria in the skin. Instead or at the same time, you should use a cell renewing product, which exfoliates the skin gently and thereby remove dead skin and old dry skin cells. I would recommend you to use a product with BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid). Fr example, you could try Perfect Skin Power Treat.

I wish the very best future for you and your skin.
