Question: “Residue acne”

Hi Mads,

I have short bangs, which means bangs that cover my forehead. I’m not sure if that is the reason because it’s been enclosed, or because I’ve had acne on my forehead. But now, the worst infected blemishes are gone and now it’s just residue and marks from that.

Normally, I use Manhattan Clearface from Matas for young, greasy skin and acne.

What can I do to remove the residue? I can’t put a finger on my foreheads without feeling a small bump from either an old or a new blemish.

I really hope you can help me, I would love to have great looking skin when the summer and the swimsuit season comes!

Answer to: “Residue acne”

Dear Karoline,

Thank you so much for your interest in my knowledge on treating acne.

It sounds really good that you have successfully removed your acne! To remove the bumps, I would recommend you to use a product that contains exfoliating ingredients, maybe in the form of AHA/Alpha Hydroxy Acid or BHA/Beta Hydroxy Acid. But please, make sure that you do not use a scrub with grains, since that will make your acne-residue worse.

I would recommend you to read my cure for acne, which is my simple, step-by-step programme for how to treat acne and blemishes. And you will receive:

  • Documented knowledge in a language that is easy to understand
  • An easy step-by-step guide
  • Video guides, where I will tell and show you to do the different steps
  • A list of products so you can find out, which products you need to treat your skin

See my cure for acne here.

I hope you can use my advice, if not you are more than welcome to contact me again.

With wishes of the best future for you!
