Mads Timmermann tells:
My goodbye to pimples 👋
Hi 🙂 My name is Mads and I have struggled a lot with pimples 😓
Okay! I know it’s a funny intro. No one would present themselves like that. And so anyway. Are you thinking of reading here because you – like me – struggle with pimples and impure skin. Maybe you have severe acne?
You therefore also know that you feel the pimples are ALWAYS part of your introduction – at least part of the first-hand impression that people get of you …
The pimples were a HUGE part of my identity. It still is, despite the fact that I have solved my pimple problem and today have a pimple-free skin. 🎉❤️😃
Today I am an expert in treating pimples. I even prefer the title “expert in beautiful skin”. Some might call me a skin care expert.
This has certainly not always been the case!
When I got pimples it was a struggle. I tried a huge number of skin care products, treatments, cures and sought help from cosmetologists, doctors and other skin care experts.
Nothing helped !!! 😱🤯🤬
Something might have helped for a short time, but the pimples lurked around the corner – and came back quickly. Most often worse than before. 😢
Maybe I’m not so happy with the title of skin care expert, because I just never got help for my skin, from the experts I sought help from … 🤔
Maybe I’m exaggerating. However, I remember most of all my “treatment” of pimples, as payment I got a red, irritated and itchy skin.
By payment, I mean, money-out-the-window on all sorts of skin care and treatments. Not to mention payment for skin tests, consultations and guidance.
In hindsight, it’s completely crazy! You also do not pay to be allowed to see a car. And you also do not pay the car dealer to answer questions about the car you are considering buying.
Sure! I have spent a lot of money on skin analyzes and cosmetologist treatments, with the sole purpose of selling me a lot of skin care. 💸💸💸
Oh yeah! And when I write red and irritated skin, I think you know what I mean … 🙄
It’s completely crazy, as a lot of skin care smashes one’s skin. Not to mention all the numerous “tips” from magazines that recommend homemade face masks.
I especially remember one of the homemade face masks that I tried. It consisted of salt, honey and oatmeal. Are you crazy?, it burned like hell.
And yes, it left my skin monster red… But I repeated – (praying god to work 😇) – the treatment every week for almost two months. Never helped…
I think you know exactly what I mean.
You have probably also tried your share of treatments for pimples. Since you are reading here, I think that nothing has worked yet – at least not properly. 🙄😓
It’s so frustrating! 😓
However, let me quickly say that it IS possible to get a pimple-free skin. I have succeeded. I found the solution to treating pimples.
The shocking thing is that treating pimples is hugely easy – not to neglect the problem. I myself have struggled a lot with pimples, so neglecting pimples is the last thing I want. Fighting pimples is a BIG problem and HUGELY frustrating.
Treatment for pimples is just not about special ingredients or specially made skin care products. It’s quite easy, which I know today…
Let me also point out that treating pimples is one thing. Everything human – the psyche – by struggling with pimples, is something completely different. And that’s what I mean by pimples still being a big part of my life – even though I’ve got pimple-free skin.
I go straight back to the insecure pimple-stricken teenager when I – occasionally – get a pimple.
I first got rid of the pimples when I was well into my 20s. However, it is always the insecure teenager that I return to when I, for example. get a pimple or two. Or 4 in the middle of the forehead 😓
And despite this, this is not the first time I mention my own challenges with pimples. And it’s hardly going to be the last time I show my photos from the time I had pimples, so it’s just borderline EVERY SINGLE TIME.
It is self-torture in the service of the good cause when I find the old photos. I do this only to spread the message that pimples can be removed and pimple-free skin achieved.
It just evokes SOOO many bad memories, bad thoughts and takes me straight back to a really hard time. A time when I hid my skin. Covered skin with makeup – go out, without makeup, NEVER!
You know what I mean. When you struggle with pimples and skin problems, you feel that it is the only thing people see.
And I’m a man. So when I struggled with pimples, it was neither metrosexual nor normal for men to wear makeup. Fortunately, it is different today, but still. No one should wear makeup for any reason other than letting makeup highlight their beauties …
I also often said no to events due to pimples – or if one new BIG pimple in the middle of the forehead. Or because I had just had a cosmetologist treatment and my skin looked dangerous. 😓🤬😱
Pimples have really robbed me of a lot of fun with friends. And stole a huge amount of time from me. Time I have spent in front of the mirror trying to treat pimples.
The worst thing about having pimples…
One thing is that the pimples – at least for me – were hugely frustrating. And that pimples on my skin made me go and hide my skin. I was honestly embarrassed to look like that.
For me, the worst thing about having pimples was that everyone – and I really mean everyone – had smart advice along the way about treating pimples.
I KNOW, of course, that the advice and suggestions were kindly intended. I have no doubt about that at all. 🙏 However, the advice was a reminder that I had not covered properly with makeup 🙄 And a reminder that EVERYONE saw my ugly skin 😢
I especially remember one episode. I must have been 17 years or so. And it was actually a period when my skin was better than ever – so I had quite a few pimples.
I was home visiting my girlfriend and we ate with her parents. We had done that a few times, and I actually talked pretty well with her mother in particular. And then there, while cleaning up from dinner, we talk about something – and of course kindly meant – she then tells me about tea tree oil. And that it should be AMAZING against pimples.
Oh yeah! And my girlfriend’s father – a great type of craftsman – voted in and suggested that I should try it …
Yes please! In that moment my evening was ruined. Now I otherwise just thought I was in a good period with my skin. And just thought NOBODY saw my pimples. At least that’s what I imagined. 😵💫
I probably have many such episodes. Thinking you probably have the same thing. And even if you – like me – know that the help is kind, it’s just so frustrating.
It is extra frustrating when it comes from someone who “just read” or “just heard”. That is, where they have never even struggled with pimples and do not understand that you have actually tried EVERYTHING seriously!
And yes, I have tried tea tree oil. It was some of the worst I have used on my skin. I was tomato red all over my face and it stung, stung and burned in my skin. 🤬
It is of course ironic that today I have become one of “them”. 🤪
One of those who advises and guides in helping to treat pimples. 🤣
However, I myself have struggled a lot with pimples.
Today I have a nice and beautiful skin – a pimple-free skin – and it’s really just my own story that I share.
Really hope my path to free of pimples can be of help to you. Not least, so you do not have to make all the MANY mistakes that I made.
Oh yeah! And then I am – in hindsight – enormously frustrated by the enormous fortune I have spent on treating pimples.
Dare not think at all of all the many thousands of dollars I have spent on skin care products. Skin care products that have never helped – at least not for quite some time. 💸
It’s completely crazy, how much money I – and probably you too – have thrown away for products, treatments and advice in the fight against pimples.
How I solved my pimple problem – and got beautiful skin
Okay, beautiful skin! I needed to write it, although I usually do not like to brag about my skin.
Now, I am going to jump a little in time – and include a decade of experience. 🧐🤓 Since I started treating pimples (and caring for my skin), I have learned that treating pimples is only a microscopically small part of fighting pimples.
Back when I had pimples, they overshadowed all other problems. I was so frustrated with my pimples that I could only focus on getting rid of them.
Perhaps you feel the same way?
I understand you completely! Pimples are frustrating! No doubt about it! I have struggled IMMENSELY with pimples, as I have just told you. I truly understand that pimples are frustrating!
However, where there are pimples, there are – almost always – scars and red marks from pimples. In addition, there are often uneven skin and uneven skin tone.
You might not see it now because your focus is on getting rid of the pimples.
However, it is VERY frustrating to get rid of the pimples only to discover a new problem – like lots of red marks from pimples – in addition to the many hours in front of the mirror. 🤬
I am talking from personal experience! My pimple problem was solved – and I was left with REALLY bad skin. I was barely able to feel happy about the fact that my pimples were gone. I still had bad skin – free from pimples, but still bad. 😓
Therefore, treating pimples is only partly about fighting pimples.
Good pimple treatment is also about treating the side effects of pimples – and ensuring good care for the skin, so you can see beautiful skin when looking in the mirror after treating the pimples.
I learned the hard way – by getting rid of my pimples and still having bad skin. Do not make the same mistake as I did! Make sure that your pimple treatment also helps scars and red marks from pimples, uneven skin, and other damaging things that come from pimples and acne.
In short, make sure that your pimple treatment helps you achieve the beautiful skin that you want. And deserve! Nobody deserves to struggle with pimples or struggle with bad skin.
Now, I am going to jump in time – again. We are going back to how I got rid of my pimples. It is a frustrating story on par with the loss of a new pimple cream, like when the ENTIRE product is smeared on the bathroom floor… 😱
I was 18 years old. I thought that I was going to be a graphic designer. I was a bit of a computer nerd back then – in the way that I spent 99.9% of my time in front of a computer.
– Not with my nose in a book. That honestly did not interest me at that time. And homework was not something I spent time on. After primary school, I started studying graphic design. Probably because time in school was short and practical training was long – meaning that school was over quickly, and I could get out there and work with computers. Amazing.
When I started my first internship as a graphic designer, I was VERY shocked! Truly!
My first assignment was a website for a skin care product. Not that that was shocking. It was actually very interesting. But it was not just any skin care product. No! It was a skin care product for pimples.
The shocking part was that the first thing I had to do was edit some photos for the website. The photos were of a teenager. A pretty girl, but with a lot of pimples.
Not nearly as many pimples as me. She was a really pretty girl who had some pimples. I would have LOVED for my skin to look like that.
And despite having only a few pimples, I – SERIOUSLY – edited out the pimples on her skin. And it was for a skin care product that promised to remove pimples? DOUBLE-SERIOUSLY, I was shocked. If the skin care product really worked, it would have been A LOT easier to choose a model who had used the products.
Double-double-SERIOUSLY. I since learned that the girl had never used the products. I had to get a statement from her – for some before/after photos – and took the opportunity to ask more in-depth about her experience with the product.
I only spoke with her on the phone, but it would have hurt less if we had faced each other, and she had kicked me in the crotch. 🥴 She had never used the products, so I had to get the statement from the company – a fictitious statement, that is. She was just a random pretty teenager who was used as a model. SHOCK!
… Every time I see the video below, I laugh and cry at the same time and think about that story…
That was the turning point for me!
The experience of editing out pimples – to promote before/after photos of a skin care product for pimples – that was truly a shock!
Of course, I knew what editing could do. I also knew that advertisements were there to sell. This was just so wrong. It was fraud. The edit was not only meant to enhance – like makeup. The edit was done to prove a result – a result that was a lie.
Actually, I got angry. I had struggled with pimples for SO long! I had spent a whole lot of money on treatments and skin care products for pimples. Nothing had worked. And now I had learned that it might all be a scam.
Most of all, I panicked. I panicked because I started to fear that I would never get rid of the pimples. I had just received proof – that skin care for pimples was a scam. 😱😱😱
I remember how I got home from work that day. It was a Friday. The first thing I did was grab a bag of crisps and 1.5 litres of Cola and sit down in front of the computer.
I am just going to interject. I had not drunk Cola or eaten crisps in a LONG time. In fact, I had stayed away from junk food, crisps, and soda for almost 12 months – because I had read that it could cause pimples.
I was really frustrated! And even though the plan was to play Counter-Strike, I never started the game. Instead, I ended up checking the internet for information about pimples.
I had previously read a lot about how to treat pimples. And read almost all beauty guides on pimples. However, my search today was different. Suddenly, I was searching for ‘what causes pimples’ which developed into a search for ‘research on pimples’ and things like that.
Through my search, I found a lot of medical journals and research results from all kinds of different universities, research centres, and such.
Friday afternoon became night. Saturday became Sunday. And I caught up on 12 months without fast food in that weekend. 😂🍕🍟 I have never been so into reading.
I do not want to make myself sound dumber than I actually am. Although, I do not quite understand how I got through all that research. Those kinds of research articles are not exactly an easy read.
I probably have never been as motivated to read as I was that weekend. Despite the articles being difficult, the more I read, the more I became motivated to read. Suddenly, a whole new world of possibilities for treating pimples began to open up. And my fascination with medical articles and research on pimples and acne lasted far beyond that weekend – especially because I had to read several of the articles two, three, or four times to understand them 🙄🤪
I especially read a lot about ingredients that research had shown would work on pimples – and when it came to caring for the skin. The reading was pretty shocking. Not least because most of the ingredients were completely normal.
Not just one ingredient. There were a lot of good ingredients for pimples.
This was completely opposite to what I had ‘learned’ and what I was told by different skin care companies, cosmetologists, and salespeople. There was almost always some kind of ‘unique ingredient’ from that company or in that product – a special ingredient that could solve pimple problems.
I also learned that a WHOLE LOT of what I thought – and had learned – would be good for pimples, actually caused pimples. Like lemon and honey, which, for many weeks, I had made face masks out of several times a month – mixed with avocado. Pretty discouraging to find out that for many weeks I had done something that causes pimples. 😳🤛
Long story short: This is how I got rid of my pimples
The first thing I did was to stop using all ingredients that are harmful, harsh, and irritating to the skin.
I threw out LOTS of skin care products. Through the years, I had collected many kinds of products. I went through all lists of ingredients. Anything containing perfume, dyes, or something that sounded like citrus – or menthol, mint, and drying alcohol, etc. was thrown into the trash.
Today, it probably sounds pretty minor, but remember that we are talking about the middle of the 2000s. At that time, there was little focus on perfume-free products.
Oh right! And even though we – luckily enough – focus a lot more on perfume-free products and bad things in skin care today, there is still an awful lot of C-R-A-P in skin care. It is shocking! 🤬😱
At the same time, I started looking for skin care that could add niacinamide, vitamin A, vitamin E, BHA, AHA, hyaluronic acid, chamomile, sea buckthorn, aloe vera, sunflower oil, argan oil, cucumber… and many, many, MANY more ingredients.
The last-mentioned ingredients probably sound a LITTLE TOO normal to treat pimples. They almost sound like a grocery list for the refrigerator. However, they are really good ingredients for the skin and for pimples! 💪❤️
My new strategy was to bombard my skin with everything that was supposed to help get rid of my pimples – according to the research. 💣💥 Meaning not just one or a few good ingredients as I had done with the ‘good for pimples’ products I had used … most of which had been thrown in the trash when I got rid of the harmful ingredients …
I am telling you. It was difficult! Really difficult to find products that contained the ingredients I wanted. And which, at the same time, did not contain anything bad for the skin.
Many of the products I used at that time, I ordered from America or Germany. And I had previously had a big skin care routine; my new routine had gone from being the size of a big toiletry bag – to a skin care routine the size of a suitcase on wheels 😂😂😂
I basically owned a cream for every ingredient. It was completely insane. I used 18 products morning and night. At the same time, I treated my skin with weekly masks containing chamomile, cucumber, and sunflower oil.
In all my years of treating pimples, my skin care routine had never been more pleasant, despite it being much more comprehensive than before. I spent a lot more time on skin care than before, but suddenly it did not hurt. My skin did not become red from the products, and the products did not create heat, or a stinging, or burning sensation on my skin.
I was extremely happy when, after a couple of months, my skin got better. Not just better, but a lot better. My skin had really benefitted enormously from the treatment.
It was AMAZING when friends started asking about my skin and complimenting it. And it motivated me to further examine the research on pimples and skin care.
The combination of results and compliments on my skin encouraged me to become a skin therapist. It was expensive, but worth it. Both paying for the education and also having to suddenly use other products. It was a part of the education to try different treatments and different products – and the pimples came back. 😭😭😭
I have to admit that I had already started to use less time on the big skin care routine. It was quite a night and morning routine I had created. Not to mention the weekly masks that I made and had on for 30 – 40 minutes. It was too much. It did not fit into an ordinary everyday life.
However, through becoming a skin therapist, I learned more about skin. The education gave me an introduction to developing skin care – and how it is done. This led to several courses abroad about exactly that. And due to a desire to have an easier skin care routine than my current one that included a lot of different products, Danish Skin Care was created.
The first couple of years, it was just a distant idea – and several years of product development. It is really not an easy thing. Even harder was the fact that I did not want to use any ingredients that are harmful or harsh to the skin.
I also gained an understanding of why there are SO many bad things in skin care: it makes the development easier. Often, it is the harsh and harmful ingredients that act as stabilisers, preservatives, and binders in skin care.
Oh right! And to make everything much more difficult, suddenly I had other needs. And thus, further demands of my skin care products.
Okay! I need to interject that I am not usually a person who focuses on problems. But when I suddenly became pimple-free for the first time – because of my self-created HUGE routine that included 18 products morning/night and several weekly masks – I discovered how many scars were on my skin.
So, treatment of scars and red marks had to be a part of my products. Everyone who has pimples gets scars.
Furthermore, I did not want my products to ‘just’ get rid of pimples and scars. The products also needed to provide good care for the skin. In short, the products needed to help create healthy, clean, and beautiful skin.
This was exactly what I wanted for myself, despite the fact that for many years I only wanted to get rid of the pimples. That wish was just as great – and important – I had just become more specific about the results I wanted.
The first products were available for purchase on 11 April 2011. Since then, a lot has happened. The products have been updated several times – updated when new research has come out, or when there is an opportunity for improvement – and today, I can proudly say that I have a really good skin care line for pimples.
I have used the line myself to get rid of my own pimple problem – once and for all – just as I have removed my many scars left by the pimples. And – in all modesty – today, I have really great skin.
What I am most proud of is the fact that I have been able to help so many other people with pimples with my skin care line.
That makes me really happy! 😃🙏

Simple, honest, and effective
My skin care line is based on the idea that it needs to be simple to care for your skin. No masks, or weekly or monthly treatments. And no BIG ARMY of products.
It needs to be simple to get it done on a daily basis.
Furthermore, daily skin care is the absolute best way to treat your skin.
It is simply better for your skin to treat it gently – on a daily basis – instead of weekly or monthly, to go all-in and ruin your skin with a lot of harsh ingredients that are supposed to remove a week’s (or a month’s) worth of dirt and impurities. A little every day is a lot better for you and your skin. 💪
Your skin care is pretty much the same as your diet. You know that you are supposed to eat healthily EVERY day to be healthy. And not only eat healthily once a week – or once a month. 🥒🥕🥬
My line only contains ingredients that research has shown to have an effect on the skin. I can honestly say that. And you do not get only one good ingredient. That is not enough! Your skin is bombarded with lots of good ingredients.
I mean, some ingredients are better for pimples than others – like vitamin A, which is great in the fight against pimples. But why settle for just vitamin A? There are lots of other good ingredients for the skin, and also for getting rid of pimples. Some ingredients are perhaps better at calming and repairing the skin, whereas others are good at getting rid of redness and scars, and others are good at strengthening the skin and preventing new breakouts.
It is the combination of the MANY different ingredients which makes my skin care line so effective in combatting pimples – and making sure that you get great skin.
Simply put, the skin care line can be described in three sentences:
- I have removed anything bad from the products.
- I have put LOTS of good ingredients into the line.
- I have made sure to combine several treatments in one. You do not only get help to treat pimples. You also get help to treat scars and red marks from pimples as well as great daily care for your skin.
Of course, there is sun protection in the day cream. After all, the sun is a big factor when it comes to skin deterioration. ☀️🥵
Oh right! And, of course, you also get lots of strengthening ingredients to improve your skin so it can fight new breakouts – long before you see the pimples on the surface of the skin. 💪🐘😃
Double-OH-RIGHT – and the line works equally well on pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, and other impurities on the skin. After all, most people experience all the problems at the same time – or from time to time.
In short, I have thought about everything when it comes to the line, so you – like me – can achieve great and healthy skin as quickly as possible. Skin free from pimples and impurities. ❤️
Test kit for my skin care line
Believe me! I understand that you are sceptical. I have also struggled a lot with pimples.
I also completely understand that you are frustrated by having to buy yet ANOTHER skin care line. ANOTHER skin care line that promises to help get rid of pimples … 😱
I have been there. I have bought way too many skin care products. 😓
Personally, I was probably so desperate – when I struggled with pimples – that I was a bit gullible. I trusted what I was told by salespeople and cosmetologists. So yes, I have tried A LOT of skin care lines …
At the risk of sounding like yet another ‘super-salesperson’ – that is the last thing I want – I can tell you that what I hear most often and the feedback I get is something along the lines of ‘I wish that I had known about Danish Skin Care sooner.’
I actually feel the same way. I would have loved to have had my skin care line 15 years earlier. If only I could have begun using the skin care line at age 13 when I first started getting pimples. That would have been amazing!
I could have been free from pimples during my teenage years. And I could have enjoyed my teenage years to the fullest with friends, parties, girlfriends, and everything else – instead of hiding away, embarrassed by my skin. I could have spent my 20s with friends instead of in front of the mirror – constantly passing on events because of my skin. 😓
To help you get started, I have made a test kit for you. In the test kit you get my ENTIRE line to treat your face. The products will last approximately 30 days.
A complete set will last three months, which is how much time I recommend giving the line. However, the price of a complete set is 196 USD – which I completely understand is a lot of money to start out with. The high price is due to all the good ingredients and the fact that I develop and produce in Denmark – to ensure high quality.
A test kit that lasts 30 days gives you enough product to really be able to test the products on your skin. Although, you cannot expect to be free from pimples in 30 days – you often need longer treatment – you should experience your skin calming down within those 30 days.
Hopefully, you will also experience less and smaller breakouts. Most importantly, the test kit will help you discover that the line does a lot of good things for your skin – and you will definitely notice that your skin does not freak out.
Today, you can get the test kit for only 82 USD + delivery.
That is really cheap! And you will get my entire pimple- treating skin care line, so you can test it. 😃❤️ And begin your journey towards pimple-free and really great skin ❤️😃
