Does lactose cause acne, pimples and unclean skin?

And it is great that you are already well underway with dropping milk and dairy products.

Unfortunately, however, it is not the lactose in milk, which is the sinner. So you can't just choose lactose-free milk products instead, as it will not have any significant effect on your pimples. Lactose does not cause pimples unless you are lactose-intollerent. It is the whey protein in milk, which is the great sinner in relation to acne, pimples and blemished skin. And it's the whey protein in milk that causes pimples, acne and blemished skin.

But, you can not remove whey protein from milk so there are no milk products I can recommend to replace cow's milk with.

You may choose almond drink, rice drink or oat drink - which also often is referred to as almond milk, rice milk or oat milk, although they have absolutely nothing to do with milk. There is also soy milk, and you can also get soy cream. Soy cream can actually be whipped up so you can get delicious whipped cream - and thus you can actually live completely free from cows milk if you look at these alternatives! :-D
