Hi Connie,

Thank you so much for your question, which I would really love to answer. I know from personal experience how frustrating it can be to have acne – which is I no way “necessary” in the time that we are in now. Luckily, there really is a lot that you can do to treat the acne.

First of all, you should stop pressing the whiteheads – this will not remove whiteheads – the risk of leaving a scar is really great and you will really regret that in the long term, since scars are very difficult to get rid of.

What I would recommend you to do to treat whiteheads is using a daily peeling – whiteheads are cause by tallow (fat) accumulating in your skin that is not coming out of the pores. The best thing to use for a daily peeling is salicylic acid (BHA) - and so I will strongly recommend you to use “Perfect Skin Power Treat” from Danish Skin Care.
