Your skin does NOT need a special night cream.

Perhaps you have read that your skin more easily absorbs vitamins and minerals when you sleep?
You may have been told to use a night cream with special ingredients.
Ingredients that will be really good for your skin through the night.
Ingredients that will calm down, rebuild, repair, care, boost, and treat your skin at night.
Ingredients that will ensure that you wake up looking beautiful.
Do not believe everything you hear!
Your skin does not need a special night cream!
Your skin needs care, protection and treatment 24 hours a day, not just while you sleep!
Night creams containing all kinds of fancy ingredients, which promise miracles…drop them! It is simply marketing.
The truth: there is no scientific evidence that your skin needs different care at night than it needs during the day!
Your skin is the body’s largest organ and requires constant and continuous care, not just special care at night!
You definitely need special care for your skin at night and during the day…just not different!
Can night creams be good?
Of course! A night cream with different ingredients than cream for daytime use is not necessarily bad.
Night creams with special ingredients are certainly not sold to you with a malicious intent, but more probably just for lack of better knowledge.
It doesn’t make sense that a skin-care manufacturer would deliberately want to harm you, regardless of financial gain!
It also is conceivable that using a night cream actually is good. It might even be that THE night cream is fantastic.
And it is just as possible that a day cream is bad. The idea is not unrealistic!
Here’s something to think about …
When there is no evidence of the difference between night and day cream, maybe there are other things that are not known, as well.
Perhaps there are other areas where knowledge is lacking?
Could it be so?
Could it be that the manufacturer does not quite have an understanding of what are good ingredients – and what are bad ingredients?
Do not be deceived!
Your skin does not need different care at night.
Your skin does not renew itself at night.
Your skin incorporate ingredients better at night.
Your skin does not heal itself better at night.
On the contrary!
Your skin needs exactly the same care at night as during the day.
Your skin needs exactly the same vitamins and minerals, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The ONLY way your day and night cream should differ is that your day cream should contain a sunscreen.
REMEMBER to always use sunscreen during the day, 365 days a year!
This is the only point where your day cream should be different from your night cream.
Your day cream should have an SPF between 15 to 30 and UVA / UVB protection.
