I have a problem with what people call blackheads or black dots. I’m pretty tired of it, because when I notice it I feel ugly.
I haven’t used anything for it yet - don’t know if I dare, because I’ve never used crème or stuff like that on my face.
So I hope you have some good advice :-)
Thank you so much for your question about blackheads.
First of all, I want to emphasize that almost everyone gets blackheads and that models in magazines go through an image processing software programme before the pictures are published. So, do not feel cheated and do not feel alone.
Blackheads appear because of overly active sebaceous glands. Blackheads has a tendency to appear more quickly in the greasier parts of your face, for example the chin, nose or forehead.
A blackhead will appear when a pore has an opening on the surface of the skin and tallow, which contains the pigmentation of the skin will become oxidized and start to obtain a brown/black tint. It is not dirt and it cannot be washed away.
An open blackhead can last for a long time, because the content is very slowly moving towards the surface.
The best way that you can treat and prevent blackheads is by using a cell rejuvenating product, which exfoliates the skin gently and thereby removes dead skin cells, which will not cause the pores to clog and so make blackheads appear.
I would recommend you to use a product with BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid = salicylic acid) ingredients – for example, try Smooth Skin Treatment.
I hope you can use my answer and wish you a future full of success.
